Ute Noll has been running the gallery UNO ART SPACE in Stuttgart since 2007 with a focus on international photography. Since 2007 she has shown more than 40 shows with local, national and international photographers. In 2017, UNO ART SPACE was presented at the New Discovery Award at Les Rencontres de la Photographie Arles with Norman Behrendt’s work »Brave New Turkey», curated by Markus Hartmann of Hartmann Projects.
As a photo expert, Ute Noll attends photo festivals and portfolio reviews worldwide and regularly adjudicates photo art and design awards and curates exhibitions, including the Australian Center of Photography, Sydney, Mousonturm, Frankfurt, and Galerie Zephyr, Mannheim. Since the beginning of the international photo festival, Darmstädter Tage der Fotografie, she has been a permanent member of the six-member curatorial team and the jury of the Merck Fotopreis. Recently, she has been a judge for competitions such as Lianzhou Punctum Photography Award & Jury Special Prize, 2016; Unicef Photo of the Year Award 2017, 2018; Swiss Press Photo, 2018. Krasnodar Photovisum Prize, 2018.
