Min Bark (born 1979 in Seoul) and Byung Chul Kim (born 1974 in Seoul) draw on personal experiences when creating their art and work on universal themes such as origin, identity and belonging. Bark was born in Korea and adopted by her German family at the age of two. Kim was born in Korea and left the country in 2004 in order to live in Germany.
